Christie Giemza joined Cherry Huffman Architects in 2000 and became an Associate in 2006. She received her interior design degree from Meredith College, graduating summa cum laude. Christie completed the National Council of Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ) exams and is a professional member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). She is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
As a Senior Interior Designer and project manager, Christie has worked on a variety of project types with a special interest in sustainable design in interior environments. Christie has completed projects ranging from small offices to public schools and is especially experienced designing and managing building renovations.
Christie has worked on projects for Duke Realty, SAS Institute, North Carolina State University, Wake County Human Services, and the Wake County Public Library System. She is currently working on several Wake County schools projects, renovations to the education wing at historic Christ Church in Raleigh, and the interior upfit for Quintiles’ global headquarters building in Research Triangle Park.
