Miranda Downer joined Cherry Huffman Architects in 2005. Miranda received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from Savannah College of Art and Design where she won several scholarships and awards for outstanding achievement.
 
Before joining Cherry Huffman, Miranda interned with Neuhoff Taylor Architects in Chatanooga, TN and several firms in Savannah, GA. As an Architectural Intern, Miranda’s work currently focuses on schematic design, rendering and construction documents. She has a special interest in sustainable design in recreational environments. Miranda is LEED Accredited.
 
Miranda is currently working on project teams supporting the Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill in Durham, NC and several projects for Sampson County including Human Services and Agricultural Services. She is the project manager on the Chatham Community Library and Community College Building, which will seek a LEED Silver rating.
