Hal Bowen

Hal Bowen has been a principal at Cherry Huffman since 2000 and a member of the firm since 1992. Hal received his Bachelor of Architecture from North Carolina State University.
 
As a principal he is active in all phases of project development, design, construction and management with significant expertise in construction administration. Hal is LEED Accredited and has a special interest in sustainable design in educational environments.
 
Hal leads a studio dedicated to educational and community projects. Completed projects include the renovation of Broughton High School in Raleigh, Middle Creek High School in Cary, the Wakefield Campus and Millbrook High School both in Raleigh.
 
Hal is working on a new LEED Certified office building for the Department of Animal Control in Durham. Hal is working on several new elementary schools and a new LEED Silver Certified prototype high school for the Wake County Public School System. He is also working on a new high school for Durham Public Schools.
